Prazinec 600mg, containing Praziquantel, is an anthelmintic (anti-worm) medication used to treat various parasitic worm infections, especially Schistosoma (blood fluke) infections (bilharzia/snail fever), liver fluke infections, and sometimes tapeworm infections, by causing paralysis and death of the worms. It works by killing the parasites, which are then passed in the stool, treating the infection.
